We take the protection of your personal data seriously and treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

5. Hosting and technical infrastructure

This website is provided via the ikas platform. When you visit our website, technical connection data is processed by the hosting provider to enable operation of the website. Personal data may be processed on servers within the EU or in a country with an adequate level of data protection.

Use of the hosting service is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and efficient provision of our online offering) and, where applicable, on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

6. Data transfer to third countries

As part of our business activities, we work with the production company AKAFOR MEMBRAN SİSTEMLERİ SAN. VE TİC. LTD. ŞTİ. in Turkey. Where necessary for order processing, data (e.g. delivery addresses for direct delivery) may be transferred to this company.

Turkey is not a country for which the EU Commission has issued an adequacy decision. Data transfer therefore takes place on the basis of suitable safeguards pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR (EU standard contractual clauses) or is necessary for the performance of a contract (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR).

7. Storage period

Personal data is stored only as long as required for the respective processing purpose or as long as statutory retention obligations exist. Once the processing purpose no longer applies or statutory periods expire, the data is routinely deleted.
